Warehouse Delivery Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL driver to join our team as a Warehouse Delivery Associate. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers.
Responsibilities- Drive a DOT-regulated 26' box truck to deliver goods to customers
- Perform pre-trip safety checks to ensure the vehicle is road-ready
- Load and secure cargo according to company protocols
- Inspect trailers before and after loading to ensure safe transportation
- Visit weigh stations to ensure loads meet state safety regulations
- Contribute to company data by accurately recording delivery times and hours worked
- Assist with unloading cargo at delivery sites and maintaining product quality
- Adhere to traffic safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions to supervisors
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and distributing to sales associates
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences
- File requisitions and distribute items to shipping or storage areas
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods
- Open bales, crates, and other containers
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via computer programs
- Assist with counting physical inventory and weighing items for distribution
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed
- Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments
- Prepare parcels for mailing
- Organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness
- Two years of experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record
- DOT Medical Card
- Enthusiasm for our products and desire to deliver them safely and on time
- Physical strength necessary to lift heavy boxes and crates
- Maintain stamina for long hours of physical labor
- Strong work ethic, professional attitude, and reliability
- Excellent communication skills to all levels of internal and external customers
- Well-organized and self-motivated
- Ability to make decisions and work independently
- Attention to detail and accuracy
