We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Loader to join our team at Wm. T. Burnett. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading Trucks: Safely load and unload trucks with materials and supplies, using manual and mechanical equipment as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels by identifying, labeling, and storing materials and supplies in designated areas.
- Material Location and Delivery: Locate and deliver materials and supplies to production areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-use inspections on material handling equipment and report any issues for repair.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with moderate noise levels, excessive heat, and vibration. You will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts.
Requirements- Physical Demands: Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
- Visual Abilities: Close vision required for tasks such as reading production orders and identifying materials.
