About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Just Cats Clinic. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our feline-friendly practice.

Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Provide excellent client communication and education on feline health and wellness, including treatment options and preventative care.
  • Medical Procedures: Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including anesthesia and sedation, as well as perform routine tasks such as taking radiographs and collecting lab samples.
  • Case Management: Manage case flow and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Medical Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care and a positive client experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience as a licensed veterinary technician, preferably in a feline-only practice.
  • Certifications: Current licensure in Virginia and certification as a veterinary technician.
