Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Timken Power Systems. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers in the field, including motor repairs, switchgear maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
- Travel frequently to customer sites to perform repairs and maintenance services.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve customer satisfaction and meet business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure technical expertise.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- AS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology a plus.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Ability to obtain Non-DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to obtain Mine Safety Certification (below and above ground) and OSHA certification.
- 1-10 Years of Experience.
- Electic motor and Control Testing experience a plus.
Working Conditions
- Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to customer sites.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
