Senior HVAC and Building Services Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC and Building Services Engineer to join our team in Exton, PA or anywhere in the Eastern and Central Time Zone. As a key member of our Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities and HVAC Engineering team, you will lead and work on various projects, collaborating with architectural, electrical, plumbing/process, and structural disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, design, select, coordinate, and review HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
- Develop concepts and basis of design documents, building heating and cooling loads, air flow and room-to-room pressurization diagrams, hydronic flow diagrams, and LEED documentation.
- Perform static pressure and pump head calculations, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, and associated central plant equipment design.
- Coordinate with architectural, electrical, plumbing/process, and structural disciplines, and participate in owner meetings for project kick-off and review presentations.
- Conduct field surveys of existing conditions and on-site construction progress punch list reviews, and write commissioning documents and perform associated field checks.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in an engineering firm as an HVAC Engineer.
- Plumbing and Fire Protection design experience.
- Experience with clean rooms, pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotech facilities is a plus.
- Microsoft Excel and Word, and experience with Load program such as Carrier HAP or Trane Trace.
- Capable of working in AutoCAD and Revit, and LEED certification is a plus.
- Licensed Professional Engineer required.
