We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Broker Agent Recruiter to join our team at Beemac Logistics. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in the freight brokerage industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize various recruiting platforms and job boards to post agent openings and review active applicants.
- Network and develop relationships in the freight brokerage industry to build a talent pool.
- Communicate the Beemac brand through telephone, face-to-face, and video interactions.
- Maintain and track pipeline and candidate progress.
- See agent candidates through the interview and offer process, including negotiation of compensation/financial terms.
- Work closely with the recruiting and training teams to ensure all new agents are onboarded and trained as needed.
- Maintain relationships with company agents and regularly follow up once they are hired.
- Manage and analyze agent turnover, outreach, and marketing success.
- Actively participate in scheduled recruiting meetings.
- Research competitor employment branding techniques.
- 2+ years of experience in transportation logistics/freight brokerage, either as a recruiter or a current/past agent.
- Substantial network of agents/sales representatives in the industry preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Familiarity with 1099 employment parameters and contract negotiation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage active and passive candidates through social media.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
