About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take on the role of Lead Construction Project Coordinator. This position is pivotal in managing extensive projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects align with client expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Supervise project administration personnel and collaborate closely with construction engineers and superintendents to prioritize operational tasks.
  • Forecast, monitor, and report on project financials, ensuring alignment with initial estimates.
  • Address and resolve issues related to labor, staffing, materials, equipment, and contract management.
  • Work in conjunction with the Safety Manager to uphold safety standards across all projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained throughout the project, including RFI logs and change orders.
Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within a Commercial Contracting environment.
  • Proven track record as a Lead Project Coordinator on light industrial or tilt wall projects.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from start to finish effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in software and technology relevant to project management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management capabilities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Experience in team management is preferred.
  • Current knowledge of the construction market and emerging technologies.
