Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Queens Treatment Apartment program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the residence, including program services and building operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery of program services in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable city, state, and federal regulations.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise program staff.
  • Develop and oversee staffing schedules.
  • Admit and discharge clients.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety and health programs to clients and staff.
  • Review and schedule case/utilization reviews, service/support plans, and plan reviews.
  • Supervise case managers in service/support planning and collateral contacts with providers.
  • Review charting to ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Facilitate weekly clinical meetings.
  • Establish and maintain contact with vendors and companies that service building equipment.
  • Coordinate client committee activities and develop community resources.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Monitor rent arrears and develop collections strategies.
  • Perform inspections of all units and maintain the overall upkeep of the building.
  • Review employee timesheets and monitor hours and vacation.
  • Member of the Case Record Review Committee.
  • Serve as a Qualified Mental Health Staff Person.
  • Recommend measures to evaluate and improve program services.
  • Be on-call for emergencies.

Requirements:

  • M.A. in psychology or an analogous field or B.A. with significant experience in the field.
  • Significant experience in mental health residential settings.
  • Understanding of evidence-based practices in rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Supervisory experience.

Competitive salary range: $86,270 - $91,835 plus generous benefits.
