Your Role

As a Lead Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, developing, implementing, and supporting new technologies and products to meet both internal and external customer requirements. You will collaborate closely with systems stakeholders and project teams to ensure that solutions adhere to quality standards and are delivered punctually and within budget. Key responsibilities may include server management, testing, and support of systems within your designated area of responsibility. Adaptability and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, optimization, and implementation of advanced software applications that transform the retail experience.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design efficient, scalable solutions utilizing Python and SQL.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of skilled software engineers, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the highest quality and reliability of the team's output through thorough unit and integration testing practices.
  • Stay updated on retail technology trends and emerging best practices, integrating them into project strategies and mentoring junior staff.
  • Participate in the on-call support rotation, proactively addressing critical technical issues and offering expert guidance to the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a proven history of technical leadership and delivering complex projects in the retail sector.
  • In-depth understanding of retail technology, including e-commerce platforms, point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and customer data analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with advanced knowledge of software design and architecture in a retail context.
  • Strong data engineering skills and familiarity with agile software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a creative and strategic mindset in a dynamic retail environment.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, capable of building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
