We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent/Relief Night Auditor to join our team at Turnberry Associates. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling guest transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register guests into the hotel, ensuring a seamless check-in experience
  • Process guest transactions, including payments and refunds, while maintaining accurate records
  • Audit front desk and outlet work, reconciling and posting any corrections as needed
  • Verify that all food and beverage outlets are closed and run an open check report to ensure no outstanding checks
  • Print necessary reports and close out all applicable computer systems at the end of the day
  • Ensure that all rebates and house charges are properly logged and accounted for
  • Use computer systems to select and block rooms for arriving guests, prepare daily reports, and edit, accept, or cancel hotel reservations
  • Handle hotel emergency situations in accordance with established emergency guidelines

Requirements

  • 1 year of prior hotel front desk experience preferred
  • Flexible schedule availability, required to work day, night, and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to multitask and handle stress in busy periods
  • The employee is required to stand, walk, for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, to handle guest packages or luggage
  • Must have good near and far vision, including ability to read and interpret written instructions/directions
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers, communicate via 2-way radio
  • Ability to distinguish smells
  • Duties mainly performed indoors
  • Must be able to hear, moderate noise level
