Job Title: VP Of Technology- Healthcare Insurance Plan

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced VP of Technology to lead our healthcare insurance plan's technology initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data management, reporting, and computer networking, with a proven track record of driving IT strategic plans and roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the IT strategic plan and roadmap in support of the enterprise strategy.
  • Oversee technological infrastructure, critical information, and data systems.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Effectively manage IT vendor relationships to foster strong partnerships and value.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify technological needs and develop solutions.
  • Lead efforts to identify new technologies and opportunities for process & system improvements.
  • Develop the IT expense and capital budgets that support both long-term and short-term objectives.
  • Oversee the management of company's facilities and leasing partners.
  • Ensure robust IT Disaster Recovery documentation, capabilities, and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in implementing and architecting complex data management and BI capabilities.
  • 5 years technology management experience in a large complex IT organization.
  • Health plan industry background.
  • Proven ability to understand business strategy and goals and their potential implications in terms of IT solutions.
  • Demonstrated enablement of the design, development, and implementation of complex solutions.
