Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to join our team at the Metropolitan Opera. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our technology strategy, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, and driving innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
    • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends, and recommend investments that will drive business value.
  • Information Security
    • Develop and implement robust information security policies and procedures to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.
    • Conduct regular security risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • IT Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT department, including network management, system administration, and help desk support.
    • Ensure the availability and reliability of our systems and applications.
  • Technology Infrastructure
    • Design, implement, and manage our technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
    • Ensure the scalability and flexibility of our infrastructure to support business growth.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and achieve strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, with a focus on technology strategy, information security, and IT operations.
    • Proven track record of driving business growth and innovation through technology.
  • Skills
    • Strong technical skills, with expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business outcomes.
