Child Behavior Technician Assistant Job Description

Behaven Kids is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Behavior Technician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct support to our experienced therapists, assisting with behavioral interventions and supporting the development of individualized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A strong understanding of child development principles and experience working with children is essential.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist therapists with behavioral interventions and support implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct observations and collect data to inform treatment planning.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure consistent support and reinforcement.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children in a therapeutic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $20,000 - $26,000 per year, depending on experience.
