Ideal Candidate
We are looking for passionate team members who value customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. The ideal Aquatic Operations Supervisor will be responsible, self-motivated, and organized, with strong decision-making skills related to employee scheduling, training, and coaching. This role requires prioritizing daily tasks and executing responsibilities efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; and

• 2 years of experience as a lifeguard or swim instructor, including at least 1 year supervising lifeguards, swim lesson instructors, or aquatics programs; and

• Lifeguard Certification; and

• Swim Lesson Instructor Certification; and

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; or

• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge and abilities for the role.

Desired Qualifications

• Lifeguard Training Instructor Certification

• Swim Instructor Trainer Certification

• Aquatics Facility Operator Certification

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will remain active for future openings.

The City of Chandler conducts pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and driving record checks as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All new hires will be fingerprinted with successful results required for continued employment.
