We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Asheville, working closely with the project manager to deliver projects across the Healthcare, K-12, and Higher Education sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day project operations from planning to completion
  • Assist in coordinating all phases of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment and project success
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, budgets, and safety standards are met
  • Aid in the preparation of project documents, such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reports
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans and safety protocols
  • Resolve issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years in an assistant project management role, ideally with a background in healthcare, K-12, or higher education construction projects
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)
  • Skills: Strong understanding of construction project management processes, excellent communication, and organizational skills
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar) and construction documentation
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 certification (preferred), PMP or LEED credentials (a plus)
