Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Experiences: Serve as the primary point of contact for birthday party guests, ensuring their visit is memorable and enjoyable.
  • Prepare and Set Up Party Rooms: Clean, prepare, and properly set up party rooms to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Greet and Engage with Guests: Greet party hosts and guests, and maintain regular contact throughout the party to ensure their needs are met.
  • Manage Party Logistics: Retrieve pre-ordered pizzas and sodas, refill sodas, and obtain skates as needed.
  • Assist with Party Cleanup: Assist guests with vacating the party room, help collect gifts and personal items, and maintain a clean and organized party area.
  • Inventory and Restock Party Supplies: Regularly inventory and restock party supplies as needed to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Support Guest Services: Assist with front desk duties and provide support to our Guest Services team as needed.
  • Skate Monitor (Optional): If you possess skate skills, you may also be considered for the Skate Monitor role, which involves monitoring the ice and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal communication skills to support customer experience and engagement.
  • Organizational and Detail-Oriented: Be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Personal Integrity and Teamwork: Demonstrate a high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first, while working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Enjoy interacting with children, be enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable speaking with parents.
  • Availability: Be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent bending, lifting, and standing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Youth Sports: Possess experience working with youth sports at the recreational and elite level.
  • Understanding of Hockey and Figure Skating: Have a basic understanding of hockey and figure skating, including rules and regulations.
  • Event and On-Ice Programming: Possess knowledge of event and on-ice programming, including setup and execution.
  • Passion for Hospitality and Customer Service: Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Food Handler's Permit: Possess a current Food Handler's Permit, as required by law.
