Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Our Cardiac ICU is a 30-bed unit that cares for post Coronary Artery Bypass Graft patients, valve repairs, and other cardiac surgeries. We also care for Cardiology patients, Heart Failure patients, Critical Care Medicine patients, post-op transplant patients, Vascular patients, and Esophagectomy patients.
Responsibilities- Assesses, plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of patients.
- Promotes adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction.
- Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
- Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff.
- Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in their assigned nursing unit.
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
- Certification(s) and License(s): Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association, Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania).
