Key Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Medical Radiography Program, ensuring alignment with college and departmental goals.
  • Curriculum Development: Design, implement, and evaluate the program's curriculum, ensuring it meets industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Instruction and Assessment: Teach and assess students in the Medical Radiography Program, using evidence-based practices to promote student learning and success.
  • Accreditation and Compliance: Ensure the program's compliance with JRCERT accreditation standards and Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations.
  • Faculty and Staff Development: Provide training and support for faculty and staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality instruction and services.
  • Community Engagement: Foster partnerships with healthcare organizations and industry stakeholders to promote the program's reputation and provide opportunities for student learning and career advancement.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: In a relevant field, such as education or healthcare administration.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of clinical experience in radiography, with two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Current ARRT certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiology, and a valid Massachusetts license in radiologic technology (radiography).
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to work with diverse faculty, staff, and students, and to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
