We are seeking a high-performing Energy/Controls Engineer who can deliver high value to the client with minimal oversight. The successful candidate will have experience achieving Energy Efficiency goals through the Optimization/Integration of BMS Systems and Controls for a variety of Clients and Facilities.
The engineer needs strong energy analysis capabilities with sound technical fundamentals to deliver energy analysis in a timely and effective manner.
The energy engineer needs to consistently deliver work on or ahead of schedule. The engineer needs to be able to delegate work effectively to junior team members.
The energy engineer needs to be a “value visionary.” The Engineer needs to work effectively with sub-contractors, potential future sub-contractors, and other project stakeholders to effectively develop and implement energy projects.
Working knowledge of energy modeling in software and in spreadsheets is required. Working knowledge of energy economics is also necessary. Knowledge of energy audit and retro-commissioning process and practices is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis, are essential. Energy Project Finance and Funding Methods are also required.
