Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Coordinator in the Central Staffing department at Broward Health Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless transitions throughout the hospital stay.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and treatment goals
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve quality outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics and self-care practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of one to two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN)
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross
