Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Representative focused on Renewable Energy who will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our Solar and Electric Vehicle (EV) products and services. This position involves engaging with existing clients while also identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within domestic markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify key accounts with the highest potential for sales growth.
  • Analyze and understand the buying influences within these accounts.
  • Establish a systematic approach to account coverage for identified clients.
  • Conduct effective sales calls to engage with key decision-makers.
  • Organize product demonstrations and field trials to showcase our offerings.
  • Manage activities at trade shows, including lead collection and follow-up.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints regarding our products and services.
  • Support the finance team by reaching out to customers with overdue accounts as necessary.
  • Foster strong relationships with distributor sales networks.
  • Assist in identifying and exploring new product opportunities based on customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Research & Engineering teams to address market or product concerns.
  • Monitor and manage expenses related to sales activities and product samples.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts as required.
  • Maintain clear communication through timely reports and updates on territory activities.
  • Gain insights into the markets served by Preformed Line Products and how our products are utilized by customers.
  • Travel and collaborate with other sales personnel to enhance understanding of our sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; sales training or a college degree is preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of proven success in field sales, with experience in outside plant construction or engineering related to our industry.
  • Proficient in using computers and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time.
