We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing structural engineering solutions for a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Perform engineering calculations, create structural design plans and details, and develop innovative solutions for complex building projects.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
- Site Visits and Surveys: Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and survey structural components of existing buildings.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and perform QA/QC related tasks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Experience: 10+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
- Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural design software such as RISA, RAM, TEKLA, TEDDS, SAFE, PROFIS, etc.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and standards.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
