We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical personal care, supervision, assistance, and companionship to our clients who require support due to advanced age, physical disabilities, mental deficiencies, or other health-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including ambulation, transfers, and gait assistance
  • Provide hands-on and/or stand-by assistance with bathing, showering, and other grooming activities
  • Assist with meal preparation and nutritional support, following nutritional and meal planning guidelines
  • Provide dressing assistance and ensure clients' cleanliness
  • Assist with toileting, including emptying catheters or colostomy bags, and changing diapers/briefs
  • Remind clients of oral medication, but do not administer medication
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 25 pounds
  • Prolonged sitting, walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting
  • Must be able to sit and climb stairs
  • Must have visual and hearing acuity
  • Must have strong sense of smell and touch
