Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Nephrology Team in College Station, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our experienced physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories to assess patient conditions.
  • Order, collect, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
  • Prescribe and administer medical treatments, including medications and therapies, in accordance with approved protocols and policies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans, taking into account patient needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
  • Counsel patients and families on medical conditions, treatment options, and health promotion strategies.
Key Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
