As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of our award-winning healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' physical and mental conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
- Order, collect, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
- Prescribe and recommend medical treatments, therapies, and procedures in accordance with approved protocols and standards of care.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients and families on medical processes, health management, and wellness strategies.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
