Teacher - Early Childhood Education Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the East Coast Migrant Head Start Project. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education to migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families.
About Us
The East Coast Migrant Head Start Project is a nonprofit organization established in 1974. We serve nearly 3,000 children each year across 50 campuses in 10 states. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive, while also supporting the needs of their families.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement daily classroom operations, including planning and implementing school readiness activities for children.
- Closely supervise and maintain awareness at all times of the children in the classroom.
Requirements
- Accepted Infant/Toddler: Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or State Equivalency.
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and experience working with children birth – five years old.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and experience working with children birth – five years old.
- Experience working with Latino Community, knowledge of the Latino Migrant Farmworker culture/lifestyle.
- Head Start experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
