Job Summary

Centurion Managed Care is seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team at Martin Correctional Institution. As a Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with medical and psychiatric staff to respond to patient needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote patient well-being.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
  • Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
