We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, utilizing critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of employment
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
