Job Description
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at Expeditors, a leading global logistics company. As a key member of our Transportation Data Pipeline (TDP) team, you will be responsible for migrating transportation functionality from Legacy systems to Expeditors' migrated platform.

Responsibilities
• Migrate transportation functionality from Legacy systems to Expeditors' migrated platform
• Develop and maintain reliable, maintainable Java code using Spring Boot and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using cloud-based CI/CD tools
• Troubleshoot and debug application runtime issues using various debugging techniques

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise level development and high transaction volumes, cloud native development, cloud-based CI/CD, Git, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes
• 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming, functional programming, and component-based development in a professional team environment
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment
