Position Overview:


We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to take on the role of Assistant Superintendent. This position is crucial for overseeing various aspects of construction projects, including managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating material logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Superintendent, your duties will include:

  • Managing all phases of construction projects from initial planning through to completion.
  • Supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors to ensure productivity.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Coordinating the procurement and delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Upholding quality construction standards and employing appropriate construction techniques.
  • Collaborating with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
  • Maintaining high workmanship standards that align with project specifications.
  • Preparing reports on job status for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiating contract terms, drafting agreements, and securing necessary permits.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, or in a similar capacity within the construction sector.


  • Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects and subcontractors while ensuring site safety.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint interpretation, construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to plan effectively and maintain a comprehensive view of project objectives.
  • Competence in conflict resolution and crisis management.
  • Excellent time management and project coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction budgeting and scheduling practices.
  • Experience in safety management and site safety compliance.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in multifamily construction projects.
