Job Overview

DHD Consulting is seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator to lead our team in New Jersey, working on various airport projects. This hybrid role will be based at a client site/office, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze blueprints and documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs of design documents
  • Develop conceptual and feasibility cost models using industry experience and benchmarking information
  • Obtain accurate pricing information from databases and suppliers
  • Review estimate takeoff information for specific disciplines
  • Finalize estimate unit cost pricing to reflect market conditions and project logistics
  • Review historic benchmark cost information and highlight variances
  • Develop relationships with architects, engineers, and project team members
  • Perform other duties as required by the Supervisor
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, plus seven years' experience
  • Computer skills required
  • Aviation experience preferred
