Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - School Setting
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality healthcare services in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.
Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for identifying and treating student health conditions, offering education, and promoting disease prevention. The nurse will evaluate, monitor, and record the health of students, making referrals to appropriate resources when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary healthcare and nursing interventions based on standing medical orders and clinical protocols.
- Administer medication to students, ensuring proper documentation and monitoring for side effects.
- Maintain accurate student health records and adhere to precise documentation protocols.
- Assess and treat health issues presented at the health center and make referrals to school resources as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents, faculty, and administration, demonstrating tact, discretion, and sensitivity.
- Collaborate with other Health Center staff to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience - REQUIRED
- Experience working in a school setting - Preferred
