Job Overview:
This Principal HPC Systems Administrator role at RTX involves managing high-performance computing systems within a varied Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux framework.

The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Windows Server architecture and foundational Linux knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and server replication techniques.

Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a fast-paced technological environment
- Assist in the deployment of cutting-edge technologies adhering to industry benchmarks
- Employ diagnostic techniques to address intricate technical challenges related to HPC hardware, software, and operating systems
- Execute operating system optimization for enhanced performance on HPC platforms
- Work alongside Cybersecurity professionals to guarantee adherence to security protocols
- Facilitate training on advanced HPC methodologies and guide junior colleagues
- Standardize workflows and procedures across RTX functions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in a STEM field) with 5 years of relevant experience OR an associate's degree with 7 years of experience OR 9 years of pertinent experience in lieu of a degree
- Active U.S. security clearance
- Capability to achieve DoD 8140 / 8570 Certification within 6 months of employment
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux Server Environments, including directory services management and system hardening
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and HPC scheduling and monitoring tools
