Electronics Security Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Security Systems Specialist to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of this team, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers.

  • Install and maintain electronic security systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance requirements
  • Conduct and document daily tool box talks
  • Install head end equipment at both local and global levels
  • Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshoot and isolate systems and/or hardware at local and global levels
  • Provide on-site software commissioning and testing
  • Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory
Key Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Education: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training, or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program
  • 6 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • 3 years of experience in electronic security systems
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Desired/Advantageous Qualifications
  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
  • Experience in installation of said systems

Physical Abilities/Requirements
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period

  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
  • Possesses good vision, the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English
