Job Overview

Able Total Care, LLC is seeking to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist. This role presents an excellent opportunity to become part of our compassionate team, focusing on delivering quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services and conduct thorough assessments.
  • Engage in the formulation and regular evaluation of the Treatment Plan and Care Plan.
  • Employ professional expertise and judgment to assess and treat speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders, aiming to prevent, identify, evaluate, and mitigate the impact of these conditions.
  • Administer and analyze diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions, including audiologic assessments.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate any changes in patients' conditions and their responses to treatments to the supervising physician.
  • Provide appropriate training and guidance on alternative communication methods.
  • Offer support and education to patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have graduated from a Speech Language Pathology program recognized by the New York State Education Department. They must hold a valid license and be registered with the New York State Education Department or possess a valid permit issued by the department. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Applicants should have at least one year of experience in acute care or home care settings within their specialty. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and reliable transportation.
Work Schedule
  • Availability for after-school and day program hours.
  • Flexibility for weekday and weekend shifts.
Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 to $110,000
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 for full-time positions; prorated for part-time and per-diem roles.

Work Environment
  • Field-based position.
