Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Teamwork:
- Motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Communication:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and trade partners.
- Document & Cost Control:
- Manage project budgets and track performance against contract requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress and issues.
- Scheduling & Site Management:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including sequencing and logic.
- Coordinate and manage site activities, including construction, inspections, and testing.
- Safety:
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Quality:
- Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and workmanship.
- Pre-Construction:
- Develop and manage project budgets, including site logistics and RFP processes.
- Travel:
- Travel up to 50% of the time to support project activities and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial construction or related field.
- P6 scheduling or similar software knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
