Job Summary

As a skilled Infrastructure Developer at Prudential Ins Co of America, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and technologists to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement automated solutions to manage the lifecycle of infrastructure services
- Collaborate with product owners, tech leads, and software engineers to improve platform capabilities
- Partner with delivery professionals to deploy innovative products, services, and experiences to delight our customers
- Develop corporate platform standards based on cost, capability, and capacity requirements to drive business value

Requirements

- Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
- Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Financial/insurance industry experience is a plus
- Experience with several of the following: Python, Shell/Power scripting, Groovy, Modern languages, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Linux/UNIX Operating Systems, Database Fundamentals, Networking, TCP/IP, and Communication Protocols
