Job Description

Our client, a leading digital solutions provider, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Dallas, Texas.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of their application, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to increase scalability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies, including containerization and CI/CD pipelining, as well as experience with tools such as Jenkins and configuration management.

Additionally, the candidate should be able to collaborate with development teams, build teams, QA teams, and product owners or business representatives to ensure that applications are designed, built, and automated correctly for peak performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience monitoring application performance and implementing solutions to increase scalability and performance.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies (such as containerization and CI/CD pipelining) and the tools associated with these methods.
  • Willingness to lead and present technological discussions and teach new concepts to different teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology stacks and concepts.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years working as an SRE or software application support engineer.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant certifications nice to have.
