Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at LDV Hospitality. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of our full food and drink menu
  • Describe various food dishes to customers
  • Use LDV Hospitality standards of engagement for all service techniques
  • Check with guests regularly during dining experience to confirm satisfaction
  • Provide guest check promptly and return receipt promptly
  • Keep all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked
  • Assist bus server in clearing and pre-bussing whenever possible
  • Provide engaged, friendly, and attentive customer service to all guests
  • Comfortable working in kitchen assisting with plating and serving as needed
  • Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
  • Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by the Department of Health (DOH)
  • Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol
  • Perform other related activities as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Deliver timely and courteous service to LDV Hospitality guests in adherence to our company policies and procedures
  • Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Maintain friendly, helpful, and positive attitude at all times
  • Strong customer service background
  • Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations
  • Working knowledge of the full food and drink menu
  • Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards
  • Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times
  • Attendance to company meetings and training seminars as required
  • Responsible for training and developing new employees to LDV Hospitality's standards of service
  • Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies
  • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by management
  • Adhere to all HR policies and procedures

Education, Experience, Knowledge Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as a Server in a similar caliber establishment
  • A high school education is required

Physical/Special Requirements:

  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day
  • Mobility and manual dexterity appropriate to staff in the Server position

Work Environment:

  • Ability to withstand a high volume of business and the movement, noise, and temperature extremes associated with that volume
  • Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress
