Radiology Mammography Specialist

About the Role:
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Mammography Specialist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images of the body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographic recorded images of the body.
- Perform technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.
- Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
- Move imaging equipment into specified positions.
- Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
- Operate mobile radiologic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at patients' bedsides.
- Process images and review for proper identification and quality control.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Specialty Mammography or one year of experience in a Specialty with an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in that Specialty.
- California Mammography Certificate, when required for the position.
- Radiologic Technologist IV-Mammography- On Call.
