We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to join our team at Grand Rapids Opco LLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our facility, while providing the highest quality of care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead the planning process to develop goals for quality care, employee retention, and financial performance.
  • Staff Development: Direct the hiring and training of personnel to ensure all employees receive orientation and ongoing training to meet the quality goals of the organization.
  • Departmental Oversight: Direct and guide the activities of clinical, administrative, and service departments.
  • Accountability and Compliance: Implement control systems to ensure accountability of all departments and ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
  • Community Relations: Represent the facility at community meetings and promote programs through various news media.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance for achievement of goals and for improvement, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Census Development: Responsible for census development and marketing.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Operations, Clinical, Financial, Human Resources, and other areas within the company or as directed by the administrator.
Requirements
  • Education: BS in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, a clinical specialty, or equivalent long-term care experience.
  • Licenses/Certification: Preferred licensed by the state or eligible for reciprocity as NHA. Meets all criteria for AIT with desire to elevate to NHA.
  • Experience: Two years' experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in a long-term care facility or completion of an AIT program, preferred.
