Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Candler County Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary and specialty care to patients in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community health centers. You will work independently and as part of a team to assess patient needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients in various settings
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and their families
  • Conduct health screenings and provide health education to patients and communities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current APRN licensure and certification in specialty area
  • 2-5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to healthcare
Working Conditions:

The Nurse Practitioner will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift patients, and use equipment such as stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs. You will also be exposed to communicable and infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
