Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to fill a key role in our construction team at Mid Oregon Personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment in drilling, blasting, excavation, mass grading, subdivision infrastructure, trenching, or similar environments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment such as loaders, bulldozers, cranes, and other commercial vehicles.
  • Perform tasks related to building and construction site preparation, including excavation, grading, and trenching.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
  • Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including Caterpillar machinery.
  • Proficiency in operating loaders, bulldozers, cranes, and other commercial vehicles.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols.


Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 8 to 12 hours per day (depending on the job), with some weekend work required.
