We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Pipestone, MN.
Job SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various medical procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Document resident interactions, outcomes, and other relevant information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and industry developments.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
