Lyle Health is on the lookout for a dedicated surgical physician assistant to become a vital part of our esteemed neurosurgery program. Our team is renowned for its commitment to training and developing physician assistants, ensuring a supportive environment for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a full-time, permanent role within the neurosurgery department.
  • Work Monday through Friday, balancing responsibilities between surgical procedures and clinic duties.
  • Assist in the operating room for spinal and cranial surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations in the clinic and perform hospital rounds.
  • Participate in an on-call schedule, receiving a stipend for availability, with an approximate rotation of one week in five.
  • No weekend obligations outside of the scheduled on-call duties.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a surgical specialty or relevant clinical rotations is preferred.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Physician Assistant license in Oregon.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
