Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical surgical unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to medical surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
