Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a dynamic and supportive environment.

This full-time role offers a flexible schedule of 12-hour shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with opportunities for career advancement and leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT procedures according to exam protocols, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Communicate with patients using AIDET techniques to ensure they understand the procedure, feel comfortable, and receive the appropriate care.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, including positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting exposure factors.
  • Follow all safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation protocols, ensuring the highest level of patient and staff safety.
  • Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness, reporting any issues to management or the appropriate department.
  • Manage medical imaging records, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete in the appropriate system.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to maintain the operational capabilities of equipment.
  • Provide assistance in maintaining inventory and supplies for the department.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Must hold certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT).
  • Must also be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT-R) or in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
