Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Radiology Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography scans using a variety of imaging modalities
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Assist radiologists with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique
  • Correctly send and transfer images to PACS
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • CLIAFE; Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
  • 1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT – CT required or No experience w/ ARRT - CT
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, R, upon hire required and ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic, CT, w/no radiology technician experience upon hire or ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, CT, w/1 year radiology technician experience within 12 months of hire and CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by TDH or TMB, upon hire and BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
