Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist II/Computed Tomography Technologist at Dallas Medical Center, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols. You will also function as the first line interface with customers, ensuring their imaging needs are met. Additionally, you will participate in PI/QC activities, assist in maintaining performance improvement programs, and oversee radiology areas and staff in the absence of management. You will also be responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Responsibilities

* Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols
* Function as the first line interface with customers, ensuring their imaging needs are met
* Participate in PI/QC activities
* Assist in maintaining performance improvement programs
* Oversee radiology areas and staff in the absence of management
* Process and transmit images to PACS

Requirements

* Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
* Effective July 1, 2017, appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
* Current BCLS (AHA)
* Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
* One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
* Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT
* Proficient computer skills
