Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute underwriting strategies to achieve business objectives and meet client needs.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and evaluations to ensure accurate and timely underwriting decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers to provide exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of underwriting processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or insurance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in treaty underwriting, preferably in the Latin America region.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with Portuguese a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
